The Post-Human Manifesto

Announcing the existence of the Post-Human Manifesto at:

http://www.southern.net/PIPE/

What is the Post-Human manifesto for?

The Post-Human manifesto intended to encourage the development of an
inconsistent body of theory about the Post-Human (trans-human or
post-biological if you prefer) period which we are now entering.

What is Post-Humanism?

The Post-Human period is loosely desribed as the successor to the
Humanist period of history which started around the 15th Century.
In this sense it could be called the Post_Humanist era. It means that,
in a variety of ways, the human being is rapidly transforming into
something other than it has been for the last 20K years - medically,
technologically, aesthetically, culturally, in all sorts of -ally ways.

How can I contribute?

I have included the first draft of the Post-Human manifesto at the web site
above. This manifesto will also be published in a number of art, technology
and style magazines with calls for contributions. You can add comments or
clauses to the document as well as criticisms. Every month or so I will
release a new version of the manifesto, updated to include your
contributions and a credit for contributors. This is PD PhD.

Contributions should be posted to:

manifesto@ae47.cityscape.co.uk or
manifesto@hexhq.demon.co.uk
