The charter:

        Moderated by E. Stephen Mack (estephen@emf.net), submit
        articles to manifesto@emf.net

	This newsgroup is for the dissemination and discussion of
	manifestoes of all sorts, and for net.personalities to post
	their personal agendas.  Areas of discussion include: how to be
	a net-personality, as well as the general discussion of
	manifestoes in real life (corporate, governmental, artistic,
	individual and usenet).  Definition of Usenet Manifesto: a
	posted declaration of motives and intentions by an institution,
	group or individual that is regarded as having some net-wide
	relevance (or wishes to be so regarded).  Examples: gnu
	manifesto, Kibo manifesto, CyberFeminist Manifesto.


	Simple rules for moderation: On charter, no cross-posts, no
	cascades, no obscure acronyms, no commercial traffic or product
	announcements.  Maintain high-quality and interest, without
	being high-traffic.
