Bettie Serveert's Lamprey -- "That's their new album. They're from the Netherlands. If you haven't heard their song Ray Ray Rain, you're missing out. They're going to be really famous soon; the whole album is great, with heartfelt singing and catchy, low-key melodies. They were on MTV recently; their name means `Bettie Serves,' and it's a tribute to a famous Dutch tennis star."
Belly's King -- "Another new album, Belly's second. I still like their first one better because the songs were a little more experimental. This one is a little more mellow, and some parts of it sound too similar. But I'm really starting to like it, especially `The Bees' and the title track. If you liked the first one, you won't be too disappointed, although there's nothing as great as `Gepetto.' It just takes a little longer to get into it, that's all."
P.J. Harvey's Down By The Water (CD Singe) -- "I love P.J. Harvey. She's becoming a huge deal all of a sudden. Her fourth album came out at the end of February, To Bring You My Love. This single is the one that's getting all the airplay. I love it, although it is a little silly when she's singing, `Big fish little fish, give me back my daughter.' The other two songs, `Living In The Sun' and `Somebody's Down, Somebody's Name' are classic Polly Jean."
"I'd be overjoyed to show you the CDs I picked up in January, March or I can show you the CDs I bought recently again, if you want. What do you say?"
You shrug and turn around to face the living room again.
